Gentle Exfoliating Crème

This non-acidic crème underwent rigorous testing and has since been improved based on feedback we received from spa technicians and customers working with the product.

Below is a sampling of some of the key ingredients that have been used in formulating our Gentle Exfoliating Crème. We will work with you to formulate your own unique crème(s).

Marine Source - Since some people experience irritation associated with alpha hydroxyl acid formulas, we have replaced that ingredient with a proprietary material from marine sources which are rich in polysaccharides and glycosamino glycans. The resulting naturally exfoliating complex results in the appearance of comparable skin renewal rate for that of mature skin group (average age 67 years) to that of the young adult group (average age 29 years) with untreated skin. As mentioned, this is because it contains an algae complex rich in amino acids, polypeptides and cell membrane carbohydrates.

Retinol, Vitamin A, C and E - Among its other important ingredients are Retinol (which has shown to increase cell energy), as well as vitamins A, C, and E, which help improve the skin from the inside out. Current research indicates that Vitamins C and E are very powerful antioxidants that neutralize free radical damage, (this is damage caused by overexposure to the sun, pollutants in the air, and poor diet) stimulates collagen production and aids in the protection of the sun’s effects. The oil-soluble Vitamin C ester offers UV-A and UV-B protection while clarifying and brightening the skin. Tests report an increase of collagen synthesis at least twice as much as ascorbic acid; and delivers pure Vitamin C 50 times better than ascorbic acid. Finally, this formulation includes a patented delivery and deposit system of these important ingredients which form long lasting liquid reservoirs; depositing and holding cosmetic agents on and in the stratum corneum (the outer most layer of the epidermis). This chemical complex optimizes delivery into- rather than through the skin and is resistant to washing off, thus extending the duration of their activities.
